Sense TouchBase Pears COVID-19 Statement:

The welfare of everyone that visits Sense TouchBase Pears is of the utmost importance, and we will do everything we can to ensure you are kept safe.

We have been monitoring the COVID-19 government recommendations closely and social distancing is being advised across the country, we want to ensure we are doing what we can to protect everyone who uses the building, especially the people Sense supports.

As such we have taken the decision to close to general public, including the library and café. We are also postponing all events, courses and workshops for the foreseeable future.

As you know, this situation is changing daily. We will be doing as much as possible to resume sessions as quickly as possible, when we feel it is safe to do so, and will keep you updated.

Textiles: Graffiti Tags – Postponed

Inspired by the colour, styles and images of the amazing graffiti and street art culture in Digbeth, Birmingham. Guided and supported by textile artist Helen Lane, you will experiment with layers of print and stitch onto fabric using stencils, sprays, screen prints, block printing, foiling (using the heat press) and more.
